If your answer is "No,” additional documentation is not needed
concerning cultural resources. Document the finding on form
NRCS-CPA-52, or equivalent, and proceed with planning.

If your answer is "Yes,” go to step 2.

If you are "Not Sure,” consult with the State Cultural Resource
Specialist (CRS), the Division Cultural Resource Coordinator or just
proceed with steps 2 and 3.

Conservation Practices Exempted from Cultural Review (see below)?

If your answer is "Yes,” additional documentation is not needed
concerning cultural resources. Document the finding on form
NRCS-CPA-52, or equivalent, and proceed with planning.

If your answer is "No” for any, go to step 3.
STEP 3. Complete form
ID-420-005 NRCS Project Request for Cultural Resource Assistance and send it
to the State CRS and the appropriate Division Cultural Resource Coordinator;
document that this form was sent on the NRCS-CPA-52. The CRS will respond
within 10-days of receipt; follow their instructions from this point.
