Idaho 2008 State EQIP
Conservation Practices - EQIP Sign-up 2008
In 2008 NRCS will offer financial assistance based on payment rates.
These rates are the amount of financial assistance per unit that NRCS offers for
farmers and ranchers to adopt conservation practices. The payment rate
schedules below represent those incentive payments by a particular unit such as
acres or feet.
In no case may applicants receive payments for a conservation practice that has
already been constructed or for a management technique or practice that has
already been adopted.
Cost Share Types
The cost lists below contain a column labeled "Cost Type". Cost
types are defined as follows:
PR - Payment Rate - a flat rate is established on a per unit
basis for adoption of a management practice or construction of a structural or
vegetative practice.
AC - Percentage of the average cost
established for the practice or component.
