Idaho 2006 State EQIP
2006 County Funding
The formula for determining county funding is based on the number of farms,
acres of private cropland, acres of private forest land, acres of private
range/pasture land, and number of both beef and dairy cattle. The
"weighting" percentages are based on recommendations from the State Technical
Advisory Committee. (see below)
About 10% of the state EQIP allocation was held back in order to provide funds
for errors and omissions from previous-year EQIP contracts, Tribal interests and
special projects as designated by the State Conservationist. These special
projects will address energy conservation, and threatened and endangered species.
