Idaho Bulletin 250-5-1
December 29, 2004
SUBJECT:
FNM - Travel Management Center Contract
TO: All
Employees, NRCS, Idaho
Purpose. To transmit
information on the procedures for transition to FedTraveler.com
Expiration Date.
Until superceded. Save this bulletin for future reference.
USDA has informed agencies that as their Travel
Management Center (TMC) contracts expire, their employees are to begin using the
e-gov travel contract that was awarded to Electronic Data Systems Corporation
(EDS).
All NRCS employees should have received an email
message from EDS containing their Member ID and instructions for using the new
TMC.
The Idaho NRCS contract with Global TMC expires
January 31, 2005.
Therefore, effective February 1, 2005 (not
January 1 as stated in the email from EDS), Idaho NRCS travelers will use the
EDS on-line booking tool FedTraveler.com or call EDS directly using a toll free
number to make a reservation. The attachment describes Self Service (on-line)
and Full Service (phone).
Please note: The per transaction fee for using
the self service process is $11.00 and the full service process is $27.09. Full
service processing shall only be used when the self service process is
unavailable, or extenuating circumstances exist.
Additional information will be provided as it becomes available. Questions may
be directed to Janis Stanton at (208) 378-5710, Chris Catherman at (208)
685-6982, or Mariann Whitworth at (208) 278-5713. Do not contact the
individuals listed in the email message from EDS.
