SUBJECT:  EOP - Membership on the National Civil Rights Committee

TO:  All Employees, NRCS, Idaho

Purpose.  To solicit applicants for vacancies in the National Civil Rights Committee

Expiration Date.  September 30, 2006

Action required by: July 18, 2006


The following positions on the National Civil Rights Committee (NCRC) will become vacant as of September 30, 2006:

• Hispanic Female
• Asian/Pacific Island Female
• American Indian/Alaska Native Female

Membership on this committee is for a 3-year term beginning October 1, 2006.  Meetings are held two to three times a year at various locations throughout the country.  Committee members’ travel costs will be covered by NCRC.

All requests need to be approved by your supervisor and routed through the Area Conservationist or appropriate supervisor to the State Conservationist for final concurrence.
