SUBJECT:  ADS – Privacy Act - District Relations

Purpose.  To provide guidance on releasable information

Filing Instructions.   File this bulletin and attachment under file code:  120-21-12-6, Privacy Act – Partnership Relations.

Since Idaho bulletin 120-8-3 was issued in January of this year there has been some questions raised about how best to continue reviewing conservation planning and application activities including Farm Bill contracts with the Districts.  In the guidance provided in the previous bulletin, one suggestion for accomplishing this was to get written permission from the participant to discuss their application/plan/contract at the SWCD board meeting. 

Enclosed is a template you can use for that purpose.  Once it is signed, file it in the NRCS participant file.  When you propose this release to the participant, be sure they understand it is purely voluntary.
