Idaho's Civil Rights Program


And Justice For All LogoThe Idaho Civil Rights Committee serves as an advisory body to the State Conservationist on employment and program delivery issues related to civil rights members identify emerging areas needing special attention, make recommendations for improvement, and provide feedback on our performance on civil rights issues.

The Committee's mission is not only to act as an advisory board, but to do research and make recommendations concerning civil rights issues and special emphasis programs.

Of course, none of this can be accomplished without every employee's comments, concerns, ideas, or suggestions. Please contact your respective committee representative to provide them with your input and ideas.

The Idaho Civil Rights committee is a standing committee which:

  • Serves as an advisory body to promote and assist in meaningful and effective affirmative actions consistent with the goals and objectives established by management.
  • Provides feedback on performance of the equal opportunity and other civil rights programs, identifies areas of weakness, and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Makes recommendations to the State Conservationist regarding policies, practices, and procedures as they affect civil rights in Idaho.

The National Civil Rights Committee (NCRC) serves as an advisory body to the Chief on employment and program delivery issues.
